Daniel Del Carpio was born in Lima, Peru. Raised in Boston, MA. from the age of 11, Daniel graduated from East Boston High School and then joined the U.S. Marine Corps for four years. In the early 80’s Daniel moved to Miami Florida and graduated from Miami Dade North College in 1984 with an Associates Degree in Fine Arts.
In 1997 Daniel graduated from Florida International University with a BFA degree. He then studied for his MFA at Arizona State University in 2002 and then moved back to Miami in 2004. Daniel began exhibiting at multiple art galleries in the Miami area, including the Patricia Frost Art Gallery at Florida International University.
Daniel has since relocated to northwest Arkansas where he lives and creates new artwork.
