Mark Vanslyke is an artist currently living in Bella Vista, AR. Mark has been in Art Education in Missouri and Arkansas for 37 years. He graduated from Missouri Southern State in 1985 with a degree in Art Education. His main influence was Darrell Dishman, a regional water color artist. Over the course of the last several years, Mark’s artwork has developed into a colorful pop art style. His paintings are generally very large and display a use of vibrant and intense color. The subject matter ranges from popular public figures to movie and music icons. Mark’s paintings are exclusively acrylic paint on canvas.
Mark’s artwork is currently displayed as private collections in several homes in Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri. Recently, Mark and Angela have been involved in displaying artwork at several local art shows.
