Cynthia Bjorn

Cynthia Bjorn

Cynthia Bjorn is an American artist from Kansas City, Missouri. She has been working as a visual artist for the last 10 years and in the creative field for over 35 years. Bjorn received a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1986 and furthered her expertise by working with master artists and continuing graduate studies at the University of Missouri KC. Bjorn’s paintings have been described as a clash between chaos and calm. She developed her own style of meditative mark-making after transitioning from oil paint to acrylic. Through her need to self-express and master the medium, her work expresses a personal voice in contemporary art. Bjorn is represented by Ryan James Fine Arts in Kirkland, WA, gallery 1871 in Chicago, IL, Weinberger Fine Arts in Kansas City, and The Art Collective Gallery in Rogers, AR. Her paintings are in both public and private collections across the United States.
